Queen easily finished her Championship at 10 months old by winning five majors.
As much as she likes spending time on the sofa or sleeping on our bed she loves
to work in the field and will be spending a lot of time pheasant hunting this
season.
She is a "Red" daughter and has his superb temperament and willingness to
learn. Her puppies will be whelped in our bedroom and have lots of outdoor time
when they are old enough. We are looking forward to this litter with great
anticipation.

Dodger
When I drove to Washington to evaluate our Pete's second litter, my eye kept
going to the red-collar boy. He aced the temperament test, following the
evaluator when called, picking up an over sized ball and returning it to hand,
demonstrating birdiness, bidability and a talent for stalking 20-pound turkeys.
His side movement at seven weeks was lovely, and it still is. Dodger has grown
to be a handsome dog, with wonderful bone, nice shoulder layback and a
beautiful silhouette. He arrived here with six points (a single and a five-point
major), and finished his championship in two weekends.
When Dodger joined us as an adult, he fit into our household flawlessly. He's
good with other dogs and cats, likes kids and loves to retrieve. He has to have
something to carry around the house and the yard. Balls or bumpers are
preferred, but shoes or underwear will do in a pinch. He loves to snuggle, and is
a master at squeezing his nose between my hand and the keyboard when I've
been at my computer for too long. Dodger is currently training for his Junior
Hunter and novice obedience titles, and we look forward to hunting over him in
the pheasant fields and duck blinds.
